EAG is starting the search for a part time Receptionist to join our team.

The Receptionist will play a crucial role in managing the front desk of our organization and performing various administrative tasks.

Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers and employees in a professional and service-oriented manner, and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to manage changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact at EAG, welcoming and directing visitors appropriately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients, visitors, and employees via phone, email, and in person requests.
• Manage incoming phone calls, screening and forwarding them as necessary.
• Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily corporate mail and deliveries.
• Assisting with various office organization tasks such as ordering and stocking the kitchen and print room on each of our two floors.
• Following published SOC procedures and controlling access through the reception desk.

Employment Type:

• Part-Time.

Work Site:

• Onsite 5 days/week from 8:30am-2pm with a 30 min lunch.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Familiarity with office equipment, phone software (TEAMS).
• Experience with basic office admin tasks such as catering orders, meeting scheduling, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (outlook, word, excel).

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (4-5 hours or more) in an office environment.
• Communication Skills (Speech/Reading): Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Ability to understand and deliver instructions in multiple formats, including written, verbal, diagram, and schedule forms.
• Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Vision/Hearing Abilities: Capability to interpret a range of instructions presented in various formats (written, verbal, diagram, or schedule).

Other Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
• Must be based in Houston, Texas.
• Must be eligible to work for ANY employer in the United States (H1B sponsorship not available at this time).
