Manager, Accounts Payable

EAG is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager, responsible for management and execution of day-to-day Accounts Payable activities, to join our Business Process Outsourcing team.

The person in this role is expected to demonstrate daily the appropriate analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results. Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to handle changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train, mentor, and direct work efforts for AP team members, working across several clients.

  • Approve re-class entries entered by your AP team.

  • Review and approve AP Aging and obtain client approval of AP Aging.

  • Review and approve monthly AP reconciliations.

  • Convert vendors submitting invoices through mail or email to Open Invoice. Complete Open Invoice enablement requests.

  • Manage the OpenInvoice to/from ERP interfaces and resolve errors in collaboration with the Application Support team.

  • Triage BPO Supplier Relations Board tickets daily for all your clients and assign tickets to appropriate team members. Ensure team members are addressing tickets within the assigned due date.

  • Work with Controllers and Auditors on audit requests and tax inquiries when needed. Provide data support for these items.

  • Provide subject matter expertise to the team.

  • Ensure accounting closing schedules are met.

  • Perform day to day AP tasks (coding, creating aging, etc.) as needed/when backup is required.

  • Demonstrate strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and Power Pivot, as well as proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications; specifically, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI and SharePoint.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-10 years of experience working as an Accounts Payable Manager in the oil and gas industry.

  • BA or BS degree in accounting preferred, but not required.

  • Experience with invoice data capture and/or document management systems such as OpenInvoice, DocVue and M-Files.

  • Experience with any of the following ERPs : Quorum On Demand, Quorum Enterprise, NetSuite, or Enertia.

  • Must be eligible to work for ANY employer in the United States; we are unable to sponsor H1B applicants at this time.
